With a passion for preservation and an eye for detail, KASPAR Art Services provides museum-quality care to those who treasure and support the arts. Kaspar’s skills, which range broadly from installing exhibitions and preventative conservation, to imaging and database customization, make her a valuable resource to any exhibition space or collection.
Caring for Art and its Advocates
In addition to working on a contract basis with local art institutions, Kaspar’s services are also available to private collectors, galleries, artists, and art enthusiasts of all types.
Kaspar brings with her more than just expert knowledge about art preservation and art handling. Her work is nothing without the relational component among the people and institutions she serves.
Kaspar realized early in her career that the key to being a good fine arts professional is to understand relationships: relationships between artists and artworks, artworks and patrons, patrons and art institutions, and art institutions and the public. She has zeroed in on these relationships in considering the best form of care. With each work of art, her preservation plan aims to acknowledge its history, capture its audience, preserve its form, and honor the artist’s intention.
Though she stays busy thanks to referrals from long-time supporters, mentors and former colleagues around Chicago, Kaspar looks forward to working with other museums and patrons throughout the Chicagoland area and around the nation.
